Our Thematic Areas

Our thematic areas are guided by lived experience and collective vision. Grounded in Indigenous feminist leadership, they define our worldview and areas of work.

Indigenous Girls’ and Young Women’s Leadership

We value the leadership of Indigenous girls and young women by strengthening their collective voice. Our work centers their lived realities as expertise and positions them as decision-makers in their communities and beyond.

Community-Led Change and Intergenerational Solidarity

We believe sustainable change is rooted in community knowledge and intergenerational dialogue. By fostering solidarity between elders and youth, we try to strengthen collective responsibility.

Decolonial Feminist Organizing and Knowledge Reclamation

Our organizing challenges dominant systems of power by reclaiming Indigenous knowledge, identity, and ways of being. We practice feminism that is rooted in land, memory, and community rather than imposed development narratives.

Policy Advocacy and Public Discourse

We strive to amplify Indigenous girls’ voices in policy spaces. Through dialogue, research, and advocacy, we try to shift public discourse toward justice and inclusion.

Education for Systemic Change

Through workshops with school-going students, we introduce conversations and perspectives that are often absent from mainstream curricula.

Safe, Creative, and Media-Driven Spaces of Sharing

We create safe and creative platforms where Indigenous girls can share stories, ideas, and resistance through storytelling and media.
