Scholarship Open Call ICPS: Indigenous Children Support Initiative
Indigenous Greeting! FFIG is implementing a scholarship program to support two Indigenous girl students who have been facing significant challenges
युल-सा, साप्राला ह्याङ् (Pronounced as Yul-sa, Saprala Hang) welcomed everyone to come together and remember the struggles of the Tamang Indigenous community of Bojheni, Shankharapur. The exhibition showcased writings, photographs, videos, and zines created by fellows of the Indigenous Media Fellowship 2025, an initiative of FIG Nepal.
Through these works, the pulse of the community resonated — a community that had strived to hold on to its soil, its soul, and its stories. What unfolded in Bojheni spoke not only to one place, but to Indigenous lands and peoples across the globe. Memory became an act of resistance. Anxiety transformed into strength. Land lived as legacy and identity.
The exhibition invited visitors to witness, reflect, and stand in solidarity. Each image, word, and frame carried care, courage, and commitment to truth. FIG Nepal presented these works with deep respect for the community and its ongoing journey.
युल-सा, साप्राला ह्याङ् (Pronounced as Yul-sa, Saprala Hang) was also re-exhibited at PhotoKTM6!
